Founded in 1995, the IPSG provides members with a forum to
aid in the communication regarding the patellofemoral joint.

Unlike traditional orthopaedic surgery formal organizations,
the small number is truly a "study group" at present with common goals.

We endeavor to advance the understanding of patellofemoral joint in health and disease
by meeting regularly to present and evaluate multidisciplinary scholarly research,
to exchange current ideas and to stimulate new ideas.
